Key Lime Pie*
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon key lime zest
1 can condensed milk
2/3 cup key lime juice
1 premade graham cracker crust
Preheat the oven to 350*F and in a large bowl, beat with an electric beater the egg yolks with the key lime zest for about 5 minutes until the egg yolks are light and fluffy and a light yellow color. After the egg yolks are fluffy, add the condensed milk gradually beating well. With a spatula mix in the key lime juice just into mixed no more! Pour the pie mix into the crust and put into the preheated oven and let bake for 10 minutes. Once baked, take out and let cool for at least 20 minutes. Once cooled, but that delicious pie into the freezer and let chill for at least 15 minutes or longer! When ready to serve take out and slice up the pie and add whipped cream! Serve and trust me… people will want seconds. Enjoy!
