    Roasted Tomato Soup*

    Tomato Soup:
    2 1/2 pound ripe tomatoes on the vine
    4 large ripe tomatoes ( I like to use ugly and/or yellow)
    1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    5 cloves garlic
    bunch of fresh basil
    Extra virgin olive oil
    1 red onion
    3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    salt
    pepper
    creme fraiche, for serving

    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3 cups peeled, cored, and sliced apples
